કોઇને ‘ oh no… not again…!! ‘ એમ કહેવાનું મન થાય, એવી રીતે આજ કલ મોરપિચ્છ અને ટહુકા પર સરખા લાગતા, કે પછી એક સાંભળતા બીજું યાદ આવે એવા ગીતો મુકુ છું. આજે પણ કંઇક એવું જ… રમેશ પારેખનું આ ગીત તો ઘણાં એ સાંભળ્યું જ હશે. સોલી કાપડિયાના ‘તારી આંખનો અફીણી’ આલ્બમમાં પણ એ ખૂબ જ સુંદર રીતે સ્વર અને સંગીતબધ્ધ કરાયું છે.
‘ હું તો ખોબો માગું ને દઈ દે દરિયો !’ અને ‘ તમે માછલી માગો ને અમે દરિયો દઇએ’ … બોલો, છે ને એક સાંભળો અને બીજું યાદ આવે એવા ગીતો ?

કાલે જ અહીં દિવાળીનાં પર્વ નિમિત્તે યોજાયેલાં કાર્યક્રમમાં વિભાબેન દેસાઇનાં કંઠે આ ગીત સાંભળવું ખૂબ જ ગમ્યું !!!!

પત્નીનું નામ-રસીલા
સંતાનોના નામ-નેહા(પુત્રી), નીરજ(પુત્ર)
પ્રિય લેખકોના નામ- હું કૃતિનિષ્ઠ ભાવક છું. વાંચું છું એમાંથી જે ક્ષણે જે કૃતિ ગમી જાય તે સર્જક મારો પ્રિય લેખક બની જાય છે, એટલે મારા આ વિધાનનો એવો પણ અર્થ થઇ શકે કે બધા સર્જકો ગમે છે. સારું લખે તે પ્રિય જન છે.
શોખ- સાહિત્ય, સંગીત, ચિત્રકલા અને એવા ઘણા બધા શોખ, જે આનંદનો અનુભવ કરાવે. પણ હવે કેટલીક અંગત મર્યાદાને લઇ બધી જ પ્રવૃત્તિઓમાં યોગ્ય સમય ફાળવી શકતો નથી.
ઇશ્વર અંગેની માન્યતા- ઇશ્વર હોવો જ જોઇએ એવી ર્દઢ પ્રતીતિ છે. નહીંતર આ માણસ જાતની વૃત્તિઓને નિયંત્રિત કરે છે કોણ? પરંતુ ઇશ્વર છે જ - એવી પ્રતીતિ થવી બાકી છે; પરંતુ હું આ બાબતમાં positive છું - મેં એકપક્ષી સ્વીકાર કરી લીધૉ છે કે ઇશ્વર છે. હવે ઇશ્વરનું કામ છે કે એણે પોતાના હોવાની પ્રતીતિ મને કરાવવી!
પ્રેરણામૂર્તિ- મૂર્તિ શબ્દ પોતે જ ચેતનાનો અભાવ સૂચવે છે. જીવતોજાગતો પ્રત્યેક માણસ પ્રેરણાસ્ત્રોત છે. સાહિત્યને જીવનસમગ્રનું પ્રતિબિંબ માનીએ તો જીવન સમગ્ર કોઇ એકમાં જ સમાઇ જતું નથી. આ બહુરત્ના વસુંધરાને પંચેન્દ્રિયપૂર્વક જેટલું સ્પર્શાય, સમજાય તેટલું ગ્રહણ થાય, આપણી શક્તિમર્યાદા અનુસાર એ સર્જનની પ્રેરણા બને છે. આવી મારી સમજણ છે.

For the benefit of some who would like to know the history of this song:
originally this song was written by “ર.પા.” for a Gujarati film (my memory fails me. was it “Kashi no dikro”? I don’t recollect)

બસ ની ટીકીટ પાછળ,
લખાયેલું;
The playback in the origian film song was given by ASHA BHONSLE. Never got to hear that track. Any one has got that version???
