સૌપ્રથમ આ ગીત લગભગ ૯-૧૦ વર્ષ પહેલા સાંભળેલું. કોણ ગાયક અને કયા કવિનું આ ગીત છે એ જાણવાની પણ તે સમયે તો કોઇ ઉત્સુકતા ન હતી, કારણ કે આ શબ્દોનો મર્મ સમજવા જેટલી સમજ ન હતી.
પણ હવે જેટલી વાર આ ગીત સાંભળું, એટલું વધારે ગમે છે આ ગીત. અને પુરુષોત્તમ ઉપાધ્યાય જેવા દિગ્ગજ કલાકારનો અવાજ હોય પછી તો પૂછવું જ શું ? જાણે એક અલગ દુનિયામાં પહોંચી જવાય છે. થોડી હતાશા, અને સાથે જ થોડી ખુમારીનો અહેસાસ કરાવી જાય છે આ ગીત…..

I love this song.The way he sang was really “karnapriya”.I really like this song but I think this song is little depressive.mari koi…..No I have my branches full of “vasant”.Not only leaves but fruits too.isn’t it?Mara ma zaad haji jage…..No “haji” means what ? I am already full of energy.Anyway I am not here to criticise anyone,but trying to think positive in all aspect of life.regardless I love this song.

like this one. I agree with Rupal that we should always look positive in all aspects of life.. At the same time this song tell u so much.. by saying that now that I’ve lost everything, I’ve no more fear of losing anything else.. I’ve nothing more to loose anything.. This is a little neagtive way of syaing, instead in other words, one can say, I’ve everything but does not belong to me so am not affraid of losing anything.. Whatever I’ve is God’s gift so it was never mine and so not worried to loose it.. Anyway, nice song..

આ ગીત મને ખુબજ ગમ્યુ. આ ગુજરાતી ગીતોનો ખજાનો કોઇ દિવસ ખાલી ન થવા દેશો. પછી જોજો એક દિવસ આપણી mother tongue ગુજરાતી ભાષા ગુજરતિ સુગમ સંગીત ગઝલો સૌથી top પર હશે.કારણકે આપણી સૌની પાસે મુકેશ જોશી,સુરેશ દલાલ અનિલ જોશી જેવા કવિઓ છે. અને રમેશ પારેખ જેવા કવિઓ થઇ ગયા. તેમજ પુરુશોત્તમ ઉપાધ્યાય,ગૌરાંગ uncle,સ્વ.પરેશ ભટ્ટ જેવા composers છે અને હતા.

દુન્યવી મોહમાયાના સકંજામાંથી ઉપર ઊઠેલા નિષ્કામ સાધુડાને તો સુખ અને દુઃખ સમાન હોય છે. વસંતનો વાયરો કે પાનખરનો પવન એનું શું બગાડી શકે ? ઋણાનુબંધની ડાળીઓ પર હવે કોઈ કર્મની કીડીઓનો ભાર તેને સહેવો નથી પછી એને શેંનો ભો ભલા ?

There is another very good song by Anil Joshi … one of the greatest poets of Gujarat … that was used in film/play “Paralysis” which was one of the best performances by Shri Upendrabhai Trivedi (and if I am not mistaken, Nikita Shah-Wadiya as his daughter). The lyrics are great in that … it says …
“Pehla Varsad No Chhanto Mune Vagiyo Ne, Pato Bandhav-vaane Haali” …

આ ગીત ઘણુ સુન્દર અને માર્મીક છે. થોડા દિવસો પહેલા જ યાદ કર્યુ હતુ. આહી Washington DC areaમા એક સાહિત્ય મહેફિલ હતી ત્યારે આપણા એક ગુજરતી કવિ જે DC સાથે સન્કળાયેલા છે અને ખુબ જવાબદારીની નોકરીમા છે તેમની સાથે વાત કરતા પુછયુ કે કામકાજ કેમ ચાલે છે તૉ ઉત્તર મળ્યો કે I don’t have hairs on my head to lose!

બહુ વર્ષો પહેલા અનિલભાઈનુ આ ગીત મે ક્લાસમા એક ગુજરાતી શિક્ષીકા તરિકે ભણાવ્યું છે અને અનિલભાઈના ગમતા ગીતો માનુ આ એક છે.

ખુબ સરસ પંક્તિ અને આજે સ્વરાંકન મા સાંભળ્યા પછી એનો અર્થ વધુ સમજાયો. બસ આમજ સરસ ગીતો અને કવિતાનો રસથાળ પીરસતા રહેજો.

This is one of the BEST representative poetry of modern Gujarati poetry. Had Anil Joshi written only THIS one poem, he would still have been considered a great one.
As far as singing, Rajesh sang well. However,once we have listen to the legend himself ( Purushottam Upadhyay ), it becomes very tempting to compare. Nevertheless, this poetry sounds even better in a female voice of Hema Desai, or Nisha.
Nevertheless, this is a treat!

અનિલભાઈની બધી જ રચનાઓ ખૂબ સુંદર હોય છે જેમાંની આ રચના
તો મારી ખૂબ પ્રિય રચના છે મારા અભ્યાસકાળ દરમિયાન મેં વાર્ષિક
મહોત્સવમાં ગાયેલ તે સમય નજર સમક્ષ આવી ગયો.પુરુષોત્તમભાઈ
