ફાટ્યાં-તૂટ્યાં જેને ગોદડી ગાભાં, આળોટવા ફૂટપાથ,

પાંચ વરસમાં પાઈ મળી નથી, એમ તું નાખતી ધા,
આવ્યો તે દિ’થી આ હોટલને ગણી, માડી વિનાના ‘મા’
બાંધી ફૂટપાયરી જેણે, રાખ્યો રંગ રાતનો એણે !
ભાણિયો તો માડી ! થાય ભેળો જે દિ’ મિલો બધી હોય બંધ,
એક જોડી મારાં લૂગડાંમા, એને, આવી અમીરીની ગંધ ?
ભાડે લાવી લૂગડાં મોંઘા, ખાતો ખારા દાળિયા સોંઘા.
દવાદારૂ આંહી આવે ન ઢૂંકડા, એવી છે કારમી વેઠ,
રાત ને દિવસ રળું તોયે મારું, ખાલી ને ખાલી પેટ,
રાતે આવે નીંદર રૂડી, મારી કને એટલી મૂડી.
જારને ઝાઝા જુહાર કે’જે, ઊડે આંહી મકાઈનો લોટ,
બેસવા પણ ઠેકાણું ના મળે, કૂબામાં તારે શી ખોટ ?
મુંબઈની મેડીયું મોટી, પાયામાંથી સાવ છે ખોટી.
ભીંસ વધીને ઠેલંઠેલા, રોજ પડે હડતાળ,
શે’રના કરતા ગામડામાં, મને દેખાય ઝાઝો માલ,
નથી જાવું દાડિયે તારે, દિવાળીએ આવવું મારે.
કાગળનું તારે કામ શું માડી ! વાવડ સાચા જાણ,
તારા અંધાપાની લાકડી થાવાના, મેં લીધા પચખાણ,
હવે નથી ગોઠતું માડી, વાંચી તારી આપદા કાળી.

મ આંધળી મા નૉ કાગળ અને દેખતા દિકરાનો જવાબ બન્ને રચનાઓ સાંભળી અને મારી આંખમાંથી આંસુ વહી ગયા.ખરેખર હ્રદય્દદ્રાવક રચના છે. કવિ ની કલ્પનશક્તિ ની દાદ દેવી પડે. અને આ વેબસાઈટ માટે આપ લોકોને પણ દાદ દેવી પડે. આઅપ લોકો નો ખુબ ખુબ આભાર.
I m listenining this song from my grandfather since I was 8 ….my happiness knew no bounds when i found out this song…..thanks very much…..now when i am in US, i can really feel the emotions and love of going far from family…..i really cant stop crying….grt post….

Both the songs are very well written and touching.
but i think , We should not let our mother to know our hardships, as after knowing that she would be more “dukhi”. But apart from that the songs are very great.

આ ગીત મને અને મારી mother ને ખૂબ ગમ્યુ.પણ તેમના કહ્યા મુજબ તે જ્યારે સ્કુલ મા હ્તા ત્યારે દિકરા નો જવાબ અલગ ગીત થી રજુ કરેલ હતો તો તે શોધી આપવા નમ્ર વિનતી.

સરસ ગીત પણ મા નુ દર્દ જાણી ને દિકરો પણ ઍનુ દુખ રડે તે ક્યા નો ન્યાય. દિકરાએ તો ગમે ત્યા થી પાચ પાઇ મોકલી ને મા ની ભુખ ભાગી હોત તો આ ગીત જ્રરા જુદી રીતે લખાત. કદાચ ભાણીયા ના શબ્દોમા એક બીજુ ગીત લખાય તો સારુ, કવિ હોય તો કલમ ઉપાડો.
