આમ તો ટહુકો શરૂ થયો લગભગ ત્યારથી અહીં ટહૂકતી આ ગઝલ – આજે ફરી એક સાંભળવાનો મોકો આપું છું..! ગુજરાતી ગઝલોમાં અમરત્વ પામી ચૂકેલી આ ગઝલ વિષે આમ તો કંઇ કહેવાનું બાકી રહ્યું નથી..! ગુજરાતીઓના હોઠે અને હૈયે વસેલી આ ગઝલ આજે સાંભળીએ ખુદ સ્વરકારનાં સ્વર સાથે – અને હા, સાથ આપે છે – ઐશ્વર્યા મજમુદાર ..!!

દિવસો જુદાઈના જાય છે, એ જશે જરૂર મિલન સુધી:
મને હાથ ઝાલીને લઈ જશે, હવે શત્રુઓ જ સ્વજન સુધી.
ન ધરા સુધી,ન ગગન સુધી,નહી ઉન્નતિ,ન પતન સુધી,
અહીં આપણે તો જવુ હતું, ફકત એકમેકના મન સુધી.
હજી પાથરી ન શકયું સુમન પરિમલ જગતના ચમન સુધી,
ન ધરાની હોય જો સંમતિ, મને લૈ જશો ન ગગન સુધી.
છે અજબ પ્રકારની જીદંગી, કહો એને પ્યારની જીદંગી ;
ન રહી શકાય જીવ્યા વિના, ન ટકી શકાય જીવન સુધી.
તમે રાંકનાં છો રતન સમાં, ન મળો હે અશ્રુઓ ધૂળમાં,
જો અરજ કબૂલ હો આટલી તો હદયથી જાઓ નયન સુધી.
તમે રાજરાણીનાં ચીર સમ, અમે રંક નારની ચૂંદડી !
તમે બે ઘડી રહો અંગ પર, અમે સાથ દઈએ કફન સુધી.
જો હદયની આગ વધી ‘ગની’, તો ખુદ ઈશ્વરે જ કૃપા કરી;
કોઈ શ્વાસ બંધ કરી ગયું, કે પવન ન જાય અગન સુધી.

સામ્ભળવિ ગમે તેવિ ગઝલ . .
શ્રિ મોહમ્મદ રફી સહેબ ના અવાજમા આ ગીત સામ્ભળવાની ખુબ જ મજા આવી. આવિ સુન્દર રચના સમ્ભળાજવવા બદલ આપનો ખુબ ખુબ આભાર.
ન ધરા સુધી,ન ગગન સુધી,નહી ઉન્નતિ,ન પતન સુધી,
ફકત આપણે તો જવુ હતું, અરે એકમેકના મન સુધી.
માનવી ચાંદ પર પહોંચી શકે પણ કોઈના મન સુધી પહોંચવું ખરેખર અધરુ છે, ધણીવાર તો અશકય છે. લોકો કહે છે સ્ત્રીના મનને જાણવુ અઘરુ છે પણ હમણાં જ જાણ્યુ કે પુરુષના મનને જાણવુ પણ ઘણુ અઘરુ છે.

મને ગુજરાતી સંગીત તરફ વાળનારી કેટલીક ગઝલો પૈકીની આ એક. હજ્જારો વખત સાંભળતાં ય ના ધરાવ તેવી ઉત્તમ કક્ષાની આ રચનાછે.

આ ગઝલ આખી જ વાગે છે – એટલે કે સંગીતબધ્ધ થયેલી આખી ગઝલ.. ગઝલકારે લખેલા બધા જ શેર સંગીતબધ્ધ થયા હોય એ જરૂરી નથી.. અને આ ગઝલમાં પણ સ્વરકારે બધા શેર સ્વરબદ્ધ નથી કર્યા..!!

Indeed this is really a masterpiece, written : Composed and sung by legends…This type of rare combination you dont come across too often.
Bye the way, in RADIO TAHUKO also this is sung by Soli Kapadia and he has also done full justice. I recommend that if you get a chance then listen to that also because… you will feel the same but with some freshness.
