ઘડ્યું છે રૂપ ખુદાએ માહતાબ કહો
હજાર લાખ સિતારાને ખરલમાં ઘૂંટી
દીધું છે તેજ લલાટે પછી ધીરજ ખૂટી
સદા બહાર સુમનની મધુર મહેક લૂંટી
ઘડ્યું છે મસ્ત ફૂલ બહાર રૂપ ખ્વાબ કહો
વિરાટ સ્વપ્ન વસંતો ના તમોને દીઘા
સૂરાના નામે અમે પ્રેમ ધૂંટને પીધા
તમારા એજ દિવસથી થવાના સમ લીધા
મળ્યું છે તમને જીવન ખીલતું ગુલાબ કહો
હતો હું છિન્નભિન્ન આપને મળ્યા પહેલા
મને દર્શન થયા છે ક્યાંય પણ ઢળ્યા પહેલા
બુલંદ મારો સિતારો જુઓ ખર્યા પહેલા
મળ્યું જીવન લો હવે પ્રેમંની કિતાબ કહો

કવિ ઃ સુરેન ઠક્કર ‘મેહુલ’, ગાયકઃ આશીત દેસાઇ સંગીત ઃ તલત અઝીઝ, આલ્બમઃ લાગણી….કદાચ તલત અઝીઝ ની પહેલી ગુજરાતી સંગીત ક્રુતિ..!
શબ્દો ખૂબ સુંદર છે…અને સંગીત રચના તથા ગાયકી અદભૂત છે…પણ ગઝલ નો હાર્દ નથી સમજાતો… આસ્વાદ કરાવશો ?

Heard for the first time Shri Aashit Desai on Swargarohan (with Hema Desai) singing Shivmahimna Strotram. Since then, I have been feeling pride for this Gujarati singer. Mainly for : it seemed clearly that Shri Ashit Desai has sung the Shivmahimna from his heart (Sushri. Hema too). But today after having heard જગતમાં કોણ ભલા ખુશનસીબ આપ કહો , I have nothing but the word “A A F R I N “. I have, now, another opinion too. “Shri Aashit Desai sings from his soul.” Please Convey many many congratulations and SALAM to Shri Aashit Desai.
