આ ગીત માટે મનિષભાઇનો ખાસ આભાર માનવો જ પડે. એમણે રેડિયો પરથી રેકોર્ડ થયેલું અડધું ગીત મોકલ્યું, અને એ એટલું ગમ્યું કે આખું ગીત શોધવું જ પડ્યું. ફક્ત શબ્દો સાથે પહેલા રજુ થયેલ ગીત, આજે સ્વર સંગીત સાથે ફરીથી એકવાર. ગીતમાં રહેલ કરુણભાવ ગાયિકાએ આબાદ રીતે ઉજાગર કર્યો છે.
નાની ઉંમરે પરણેલી છોકરીની વ્યથા આ ગીતમાં કવિએ ખુબ ભાવાત્મક રીતે રજુ કરી છે… ‘લીલીછમ મ્હોરવાની આશામાં ઉગેલી કુંપણ તોડાઇ એક તાજી’… બસ આટલા જ શબ્દો આ ગીત વિશે ઘણું ઘણું કહી જાય છે…
