Ahmedabad! About forty three years ago in Best Middle School (high scool was yet to come) two students in Bhatt sir’s (?) Gujarati class spontaneously “acted out” this wonderful poem. Parimal Desai (now Dr Desai -just like his very fine father) became “Krishna” and I was all “other”characters. No one stooped us, in fact the teacher encouraged us (he was singing and we were acting!) it was a hit! And that day is etched in my memory with an indelible ink of wonder, happiness and innocence. Those were the days.

Hi, I was watching Mahabharat and suddenly scene came of this song and felt to sing, but as many years passed last since time remember this KAVITA. So get on net and found it. Almost cry when hearing it with such a wonderful tune and voice.
