બે વર્ષ પહેલા આપેલું આ દિવાળી બોનસ - આજે ફરીથી આપું તો વાંધો નથી ને? અરે !! એ જ ગીત પાછું આપીને હું કંઇ છટકવાની વાત નથી કરી રહી… ૨ વર્ષ પહેલા લતા મંગેશકર અને પ્રફૂલ દવેના અલગ અલગ સ્વરમાં સંભળાવેલું આ કૃષ્ણગીત - આજે ઇસ્માઇલ વાલેરા અને ઐશ્વર્યા મજમુદારના અવાજ સાથે ફરીથી એકવાર… અને નીચે લખેલી પ્રસ્તાવના પણ આજે તો એટલી સરસ લાગુ પડે છે કે એને પણ બદલવાની જરૂર નહીં પડે…!

અચાનક કંઈક અણધાર્યો લાભ મળે ત્યારે હું ઘણીવાર એને ‘વગર દિવાળીનું બોનસ’ કહું છુ. તો આ દિવાળી આવી ત્યારે ટહુકોના મિત્રોને ‘દિવાળીનું બોનસ’ ના આપું એ ચાલે ?
કાલે નવું વર્ષ છે, એટલે નવા વર્ષની ભેટ તરીકે તો કંઇક લાવીશ.. ( મને હમણા સુધી કંઇ વિચાર આવ્યો નથી, પણ ૨૪ કલાકમાં કંઇક તો મળી જ જશે). પણ આજે દિવાળીના દિવસે આ મારુ ઘણું જ ગમતું કૃષ્ણગીત…!! લતા મંગેશકર અને પ્રફૂલ દવે ના અવાજમાં….

It is a beautiful song…very good. It is “maneti ne mole gya chho re”, which roughly translates as “you are visiting your favourite one in her palace” (…but ignoring us, the Gopis)…it is so very well expressed. So if you can correct the lyrics please.

a populer pad of premlakshana bhakti..and as it is very common, many lines have been added to it.even a namaacharan of bhaga charan is replaced by some one in some version.” vhalani marajima reshu” and ” evi mune haiyadharan” can not be transleted..one more correction:matajine modhe thajo…means: malijajo..radhaji has not asked, even for one meeting!not in the entire pad.an all time great lyric..a SONAMAHORE wich will allways be in CHALAN. a UDHHAV GEETA in gujarati telling us about LOVE in our beloved mother toung.

This is one of my most favorite Bhajans and actually in my small town (in kathiawad), we call it “Prabhatia” and a small group of people in my neighborhood used to sing this early morning. There is nothing better than to wake up at the singing of this beautiful bhajan.Thanks to Jayshreeben for re-instating this bhajan.

કૃષ્ણના પ્રેમમાં તડપતી ગોપીઓ, ગાયો અને ગોકુળનું અવિસ્મરણીય આલેખન આ ગીતમાં થયું છે. કૃષ્ણવિરહની વેદના તીવ્ર છે, છતાં ગોપીઓને હજી વિશ્ર્વાસ છે કે કૃષ્ણ પાછા આવશે… એટલે તેઓ ઓધવજીને વિનંતી કરે છે કે ઓધાજી, મારા વ્હાલાને મનાવી, વઢીને પણ પાછા લેતા આવજો…. કેટલું દર્દ, કેટલો પ્રેમ છલકે છે આ ગીતમાં…. એક એક પંકિત કૃષ્ણમય બની છે…. અને અધુરામાં પૂરું સ્વરસામ્રાજ્ઞી લતા મંગેશકર અને નવી પેઢીનો ઉગતો અવાજ એટલે ઐશ્ર્વર્યા મજમુદાર… સાથે પ્રફુલ દવે અને ઈસ્માઈલ વાલેરાના અવાજમાં આટલું અદ્ભુત ગીત સાંભળવા મળ્યું… ખરેખર તો કાનને પણ એવું લાગ્યું હશે કે કાશ આવું સારું રોજ કોઈ શ્રવણ કરાવે તો…? અને છેલ્લે એક ફરિયાદ .. કે જેટલું સરસ પ્રફુલ દવેએ કે ઈસ્માઈલ વાલેરના અવાજમાં આ ગીત છે કદાચ એથીય વધુ તમને પાર્થિવ ગોહિલના અવાજમાં આ ગીત લાગશે… મારી વિનંતી છે કે જો પાર્થિવના સ્વરમાં ક્યાંયથી આ ગીત મળી જાય તો પ્લીઝ અહીં મૂકશો. બધાને સાંભળવું ગમશે.. પાર્થિવ-ઐશ્ર્વર્યા એ ગુજરાતી પેઢીનું ભવિષ્ય છે…

ગુજરાતી સાહિત્ય અને સંગીતમાં અા ગીત અનેરુ છે. તેમાયે અા વિરહી ભજન ગીતને ગુજરાતી તથા હિન્દી ગીતકાર ,ભજનીકોએ ૫ોતાની કલા ૫્રમાણે ગાયુ છે. ઇસ્માઇલ વાલેરા નો જન્મજ અા ગીત ગાવા માટે થયો હોય એવુ લાગે છે. એક વાર તેના કંઠે અા ભજન સાભળ્યા ૫છી ફરી ફરી તેજ સાંભળવાનુ મન થાય છે.
