સુંદર ધુન્.બે ચાર વાર સાંભળીએ એટલે કંઠસ્થ થઈ જાય, ને મનૉમન ગવાયા જ કરે.
અવાજ હરિ ઓમ શરણનો છે (બોક્ષ લખવા માટે નાનો છે.)

મહાત્માજેીએ બ્રિટિશરો સામે, હિન્દુ મુસ્લિમ એક્તા કાયમ રહે તે માટે રટેલુ આ સુન્દર ભજન શ્રેી હરિઓમ શરણના કન્ઠમા ગવાયેલ અને તે અમર રહેશે!
વિષ્ણુ દિગમ્બર પલુસ્કરજી એ આ ભજન ગાયેલુ છે. નાસિક ખાતે તેઓના ઘર માં તેમની યાદગીરી સ્વરુપે તેઓના જ કન્ઠ થી ગવાયેલ આ ધુન અહર્નિશ વગાડવામાં આવે છે.
આ ધુન ના સ્વરાન્કન વિશે થોડી અસ્મન્જસ છે. કારણકે રામાયણની અમુક ચોપાઈઓ નો રાગ આ ધુનને મળતો આવે છે.
આ ધુનનાંરચયિતા વિશે પણ વિવાદ છે. અમુક્ના મતે સ્વામિ રામદાસ આ ધુન ના રચયિતા છે. અમુક લોકો બિજા અનેક નામો પર આંગળી ચિન્ધે છે.
આ સ્વર શ્રી હરિઓમ શરણનો છે.

It is believed that as a “traditional” bhajan it was popularized, by Acharya Vishnu Digambar Paluskar, which is based on a mantra by the 17th century Marathi saint-poet Ramdas. The language is Hindi.
The version popularized by Mahatma Gandhi is:
रघुपति राघव राजाराम , पतित पावन सीताराम
सीताराम सीताराम, भज प्यारे तू सीताराम
ईश्वर अल्लाह तेरो नाम, सब को सन्मति दे भगवान
Transliteration:
Raghupati Raghav raja Ram, patit pavan Sita Ram

Lord Rama, Chief of the house of Raghu
