‘સિલ્વર જ્યુબિલી’ નાટક…. Not to be missed..!!

સ્નેહભિની આંખે હસાવતું
ર૫ વર્ષના લગ્નજીવનના ડાયરીના પાનામાંથી વહેતું

નાટકના ફ્લાયરમાં આ શબ્દો વપરાયા છે.. પણ જોતી વખતે એવું અનુભવાય કે જાણે ડાયરીના પાનામાંથી નહીં – પણ ક્યાંક ને કશેક – આપણે જીવેલી ક્ષણો, અનુભવેલા સંવેદનો, હોઠથી સરી ગયેલા કે હોઠ સુધી આવીને અટકી ગયેલા શબ્દો – એ બધુ લઇને – આપણી સાથે જ વહેતું નાટક છે આ..!!

હું અને અમિત – અમે સાથે જોયેલું આ પહેલું નાટક. અને આમ ભલે અમારે સિલ્વર જ્યુબિલી ઉજવવાને ઘણી વાર છે – પણ ‘પ્રિયા અને પરમ’ ના કેટલાય સંવાદો પર અમે – એકમેક સામે જોઇ ને મલક્યા છે. અને સાથે જ મેં અમિતનો ખભો પણ કેટલો ભીનો કર્યો..! 🙂

અને નાટકના કોઇ એક મજબૂત પાસાની વાત કરવી શક્ય જ નથી..! દરેક કલાકારનું એકદમ powerful performance , કાજલબેનની એટલી જ દમદાર કલમ, વિરલભાઇનું Award Winning Direction, કવિ શ્રી મનોજ જોશી ‘મન’ ના હ્રદયસ્પર્શી ગીતો અને શૌનક પંડ્યાનું સાંભળતાજ ગમી જાય એવું સંગીત..!

Namo Gurjari Namostute – Hayward, California

BAYVP (Haveli in Milpitas) takes great pride in bringingshow “NAMO GURJARINAMOSTUTE” – a Grand Salute to Great Gujarat through Dance& Music. It is spell-bounding performance with almost 30 artists from Indiaincluding live music, singing and dancing. The concept is derived from “ShriSaathvaro Radhye Shyam No”. “Namo Gurjari Namostute” was produced to commemorate 50 years of Swarnin Gujarat Celebrations.

Show has started in some major cities in USA and attached is the review from Houston. It is not to be missed.

સૌ સારું જેનું છેવટ સારું (મારો પિયુ ગયો રંગૂન)

વ્હાલા ગુજરાતીઓ…

આપને જણાવતા આનંદ થાય છે કે Globe Theater London (Shakespeare’s original theater) એ Arpana Theater of Mumbai ને શેક્સપિયરના નાટક “Alls well that ends well” ને ગુજરાતીમાં ભજવવા માટે આમંત્રણ આપ્યું છે. આ નાટકના મુંબઇમાં ૫ શો થઈ ચૂકયા છે – અને મે ૨૩-૨૪ ના દિવસે એ નાટક (સૌ સારું જેનું છેવટ સારું) Globe Theater, London માં ભજવાશે – under the aegis of Shakespearean Olympiad. ગુજરાતી નાટકમાં સંગીત આપ્યું છે – ઉદય મઝુમદારે. આ નાટક જે મુંબઈમાં ‘મારો પિયુ ગયો રંગૂન’ ના નામે પ્રસ્તુત થયું છે એનો હજુ એક શો – ૨૦મી મે (બિરલા ખાતે) કર્યા પછી લંડન જશે.
