This is the first time that a Gujarati poet is being reached out to Marathi readers. The excellent translations are done by Dilip Chitre, a poet/playwright and an architect by profession. We bring so much literature from other languages into Gujarati but hardly anything goes into Marathi so this is an unprecedented event.
