(મારા ભત્રીજાઓ.. ….આલાપ અને ઈશાન)

નાનાં અમથાં આજ ભલે ને, કાલે મોટા થાશું;
અમે તો ગીત ગુલાબી, ગાશું !
કળી-કળીનાં ફૂલ થાય ને બુંદ-બુંદનો દરિયો !
નાની અમથી વીજ ચમકતી આભે થઈ ચાંદલિયો;
મસ્ત થઈને અજાણ પંથે અમે એકલાં જાશું :
અમે તો ગીત ગુલાબી ગાશું !
નાનકડી કેડીનો થાતો મારગ કેવો મોટો;
એવા મોટા થઈશું કે નહિ જડે અમારો જોટો !
હશે હોઠ પર સ્મિત : આંખમાં કદી હોય નહિ આંસુ,
અમે તો ગીત ગુલાબી ગાશું !

some where in year 1986-87 I had purchased one cassett viz. અલકચલાણુ’
This song was there in that cassett alongwith few others. Music arranged by Shri Purshottam Upadhyay. Singers were Hansa Dave, Viraj & Bijal Upadhyay & one more child voice was there.Apart from this, other poems where:

Music was melodious.
yet simple for child to follow.
My son & other children at our home had all the song byhearted. They used to sing in chorus during aantakshari game.
સુર + ઇશ i.e.સુરેશ દલાલ્ કોઇક્ને તમારો વારસો આપિ જજો
સુરેશ દલાલની કવિતા એટલે ગમતીજ હોય જ્યારે અહીં તો બાળ કાવ્ય છે અને એ પણ એટલુંજ મસ્ત છે. નાના બાળકો નિરાશ થવાને કે રડવાને બદલે કેટલાં વિશ્વાશથી કહે છે, ‘અમે તો ગીત ગુલાબી ગાશું !’

નાનપણ યાદ આવી ગયુ.મસ્ત થૈ નૈ અજાણ પન્થે અમે એક્લા જાશુ વાચી નૈ મને મારો ભાઈ યાદ આવિ ગયો જેને દેવ થઈ ગયે ૧૦ મહિના થૈ ગયા છે.ખરેખર આવિ જ મસ્ત રિતે કોઇને ખબર ના પઙે તેમ અમારી આગળી છોઙી ને ચાલ્યો ગયો.સુરેશ દાદા એ મને મારુ બાળપણ યાદ અપાવ્યુ.
