આભમાં ઊગેલ ચાંદલો, ને જીજાબાઇને આવ્યાં બાળ રે (2)
બાળુડાને માત હીંચોળે
ધણણણ ડુંગરા બોલે.
શિવાજીને નીંદરું ના’વે
માતા જીજાબાઇ ઝુલાવે.
પેટમાં પોઢીને સાંભળેલી બાળે રામ – લખમણની વાત
માતાજીને મુખ જે દીથી,
ઊડી એની ઊંઘ તે દીથી….શિવાજીને…
પોઢજો રે, મારાં બાળ ! પોઢી લેજો પેટ ભરીને આજ –
કાલે કાળાં જુદ્ધ ખેલાશે :
સૂવાટાણું ક્યાંય ન રહેશે….શિવાજીને…
ધાવજો રે, મારાં પેટ ! ધાવી લેજો ખૂબ ધ્રપીને આજ –
રહેશે નહીં, રણઘેલુડા !
ખાવા મૂઠી ધાનની વેળા…..શિવાજીને…
પ્હેરી – ઓઢી લેજો પાતળાં રે ! પીળાં-લાલ-પીરોજી ચીર –
કાયા તારી લોહીમાં ન્હાશે :
ઢાંકણ તે દી ઢાલનું થાશે….શિવાજીને…
ઘૂઘરા, ધાવણી, પોપટ-લાકડી ફેરવી લેજો આજ –
તે દી તારે હાથ રહેવાની
રાતી બંબોળ ભવાની….શિવાજીને…
લાલ કંકુ કેરા ચાંદલા ને ભાલે તાણજો કેસરાઆડ્ય –
તે દી તો સિંદોરિયા થાપા
છાતી માથે ઝીલવા, બાપા !….શિવાજીને…
આજ માતા ચોડે ચૂમીયું રે બાળા ! ઝીલજો બેવડ ગાલ –
તે દી તારાં મોઢડાં માથે
ધૂંવાધાર તોપ મંડાશે…….શિવાજીને…
આજ માતાજીની ગોદમાં રે તુંને હૂંફ આવે આઠ પ્હોર –
તે દી કાળી મેઘલી રાતે
વાયુ ટાઢા મોતના વાશે…..શિવાજીને…
આજ માતા દેતી પાથરી રે કૂણાં ફૂલડાં કેરી સેજ –
તે દી તારી વીરપથારી
પાથરશે વીશભુજાળી……શિવાજીને…
આજ માતાજીને ખોળલે રે તારાં માથડાં ઝોલે જાય –
તે દી તારે શિર ઓશીકાં
મેલાશે તીર- બંધૂકા….શિવાજીને…
સૂઈ લેજે, મારા કેસરી રે ! તારી હિંદવાણ્યું જોવે વાટ –
જાગી વ્હેલો આવ, બાલુડા !
માને હાથ ભેટ બંધાવા….શિવાજીને…
જાગી વ્હેલો આવજે, વીરા !
ટીલું માના લોહીનું લેવા !
શિવાજીને નીંદરું ના’વે
માતા જીજાબાઇ ઝુલાવે.

I do not understand your objection to word Hindu. Aurangzeb was oppressing Hindus and Shivaji stopped him. That is the reason why I used word Hindus.
I agree to you but I objected to fact that you told “We hindu’s” because even some Muslims do know that Aurangzeb did things which is like a Kafir or a demon like thing by killing the innocent. Even their religion doesn’t permit such killing. So If I had to re frame what you had told would be
“We Indians should be ever grateful to Shivaji Maharaj as a protector of Hindus(no religion permits killing of innocent) just like Rana Pratap and Chankya.”

Try to understand the importance of Shivaji in the proper context of time. This was the time when Hindus were in danger from Aurangzeb. He protected us by waging a war against the tyrant. If you can not understand this, I feel sorry for you.

@To Mr Ramesh Dave, True India is in acceptance not in rigidness of Hinduism. One of my Muslim friend sings more Hindu prayers than me. All religions mean the same and This poet brings of the most beautiful and pious emotions of selfless love of mother and child which is universal concept in nature. I am more of a human than Hindu.

હુ અત્યારે DAIICT,ગાન્ધીગર મા Engineering ભણુ છુ. આ હાલરડુ મારા બાપુજી નુ સૌથી પ્રીય ગીત હતુ કેહ્કે આ મારી સ્વર્ગીય મોટા બા સમ્ભળાવતા હતા.ઍ મજુરી કરતી હતી. પણ મારા પિતા ના ભણતર મા જરાય કસર નતી છોડી. ઍ જીજાબઇ ની જેમ અજ હતી.આજે મારા પિતાજી ના માથે હાથ મુકવા વાડુ કેઇ નથી ત્યારે આ ગીત બહુ યાદગાર બની ગયુ છે.
મને આ વેબસાઈ બહુ ગમિ
ઘણા સમયથી આ હાલરડુ શોધતો હતો, આજે અચાનક મળી ગયુ બહુ જ મજા આવી. ખૂબ જ ધન્યવાદ.

મને મારા દાદિ કહેતા કે તુ નાનો હતો ત્યારે જ્યા સુધિ શિવાજી નુ હાલરડુ ના સામ્ભળતો ત્યા સુધિ સુતો નહિ.
શિવાજી નો જન્મ તો મહારાશ્ટ્ મા થયો અને વાણિયા નો દિકરો સોરથ મા રહિ ને હાલરદડૂ લખે ચે.

બહુ સરસ હુ આજ હાલરડુ બહુ સમય થી શોધતો હતો.
“શિવાજીને નીંદરું ના’વે, માતા જીજાબાઇ ઝુલાવે.”
બા આ ગાઈ સંભળાવતી… ઘણા વખત પછી આ હાલરડું જોયું.
“રહેશે નહીં, રણઘેલુડા ! ખાવા મૂઠી ધાનની વેળા” — મારી હાલત (અને કદાચ બધાંની) અત્યારે આવા જ કોઈ “રણઘેલુડા” જેવી છે. બા કદાચ એ વાત સહદેવની જેમ જાણતી હતી!
