૨૦ ઓક્ટોબર ૧૯૨૦ – કવિ શ્રી જયંત પાઠકનો જન્મદિવસ… એટલે કે ગઇકાલથી એમનું જન્મ શતાબ્દિ વર્ષ શરૂ થયું…. કવિ ની આ ખૂબ જ જાણીતી કવિતા – વગડાનો શ્વાસ – દ્વવિતા ચોક્સીના અવાજમાં અને મેહુલ સુરતીના સ્વરાંકન સાથે ટહુકો પર વર્ષોથી ગૂંજે છે – આજે આ જ ગીત – અમરભાઇના સ્વર – સ્વરાંકન સાથે માણીએ – અને કવિ શ્રી ને ફરી યાદ કરીએ….

ટહુકો પર મુકાયેલી મોટાભાગની પોસ્ટની સાથે કોઇક એવુ ચિત્ર હોય છે, જે કુદરતે આપણને બક્ષેલા અફાટ સૌંદર્યની એક નાનકડી ઝલક બતાવી જાય… અને આપણી કવિતાઓ અને ગીતોમાં કવિઓએ પણ કુદરતના જુદા જુદા રંગોને આબાદ રીતે ઝીલ્યા છે..
તો ચાલો, ટહુકો પર થોડા દિવસ આ કુદરતી સૌંદર્યનો ઉત્સવ ઉજવીએ.
અને શરૂઆત કરીયે જયંત પાઠકના આ ગીતથી…
અરે ઉભા રહો… ગીત સાંભળતા પહેલા જરા કુદરતની વધુ નજીક પહોંચીયે…. કલ્પના કરો ડાંગ જિલ્લાના કોઇ પહાડ પરથી વહેતો એક નાનકડો ધોધ… વહેલી સવાર… એક આદિવાસી કન્યા ત્યાં બેઠી બેઠી કુદરતને ભરપૂર માણે છે… ત્યાં સંભળાય છે એને દૂરથી વહી આવતા કોઇની વાંસળીના સૂર….

The geet is good but the composition is abysmally poor, and the singer sings horrible..
હ્ર્દયના તારને ઝન્ક્રઉત કરિ જાય એવ મધુર ગિત્.
It’s wonderful,Mehul ‘s great effort,not only that arrangement of the song and Dravita’s soothing voice creates visual of a beautiful poem.Kudos to both of you and wishes.perhaps new generation of Gujarati music lovers will come close to Sugam Sangeet.

આ ગીત સાંભળીને જાણે સમાધિમાં ઉતરી જવાયું… ગીતોને ડાઉનલોડ થતા વાર લાગતી હોય છે એટલે હું સામાન્યતઃ કવિતા વાંચીને આગળ ભાગતો રહું છું. પણ મેહુલ એ જ શહેરમાં શ્વસે છે જ્યાં હું સમયની શીશીમાંથી સરતો રહું છું. એટલે એનું ગીત સાંભળવું જ પડે. ઢ્રવિતાને પણ ઘણી વાર સાંભળ્યા છે. એના અવાજની કોકિલ આ ગીતમાં તો જાણે વસંત કંઠમાં ઘોળીને ઉઘડી છે…
