વિચિત્ર રીતે કરું ક્યારેક મજાક ખુદની-
કે લખું પ્રેમપત્ર પણ સરનામા વગર !
જુઠાણાંને સાચાં જે ઠરાવી જાણે -
તેને ચાલે જરૂર કોઇ બહાના વગર !
દુ:ખો દુનિયાનાં ઘણાં દૂર થઇ જાય -
ચાલે માનવને જો કંઇ વિચાર્યા વગર !
કોણે કયારે બનાવ્યું આ જીવન કેવું -
કોણ ક્યારે કરમાય કોઇના વગર !
સ્વાભાવે પરવાનાથી ચડિયાતો વળી -
જલી જાઉં ઘણીવાર કોઇ શમા વગર !
રહ્યો હું ખરે જ જમાનાથી પાછળ
મિથ્યાભિમાને કે ચાલશે જમાના વગર !
