એકવાર શ્યામ તારી મોરલી વગાડી દે,
એમાં ગોકુળીયુ ગામ તું ડુબાડી દે;
એવી ચારેકોર ઝંખના જગાવી દે.
ભર તું બપ્પોર (?) મારી આંખો લઈ ગોકુળીયુ ગોતી તું ક્યાંય નજર ના આવે,
આખીયે જાત ધૂળ ધૂળ થઈ ગોકુળની(?) ગાયોની ખરીઓ ખરડાવે.
એકવાર પગલી તું ગોકુળમાં પાડી દે,
ને ગોકુળીયુ ગામ તું ડુબાડી દે;
એવી ચારેકોર ઝંખના જગાવી દે.
મોરપીંછ મોકલવું ક્યાંય નહીં હોય તેમ માથે મૂકીને તું હાલજે,
રાધાને દીધેલા કોલ પેલો વાંસળી વગાડવાનો આખર તો પાળજે.
એકવાર એટલી ઉદારતા બતાવી દે,
ને ગોકુળીયુ ગામ તું ડુબાડી દે;
એવી ચારેકોર ઝંખના જગાવી દે.

Can you keep Gujarati folk song, “Dekho raat dhali, mara nyana singar, dekho raat dhali, navrang nache thar sajayo pito taro sagar gaya, ghevar ladu aur churma pyaro lage mughal sur ma, dekho raat dhali”. This song is in hindi movie “Jhoda Akbar” when Ashiwariya makes Rajputi Dhavat, while she comes to serve the food to Hritik at that time we can hear this song in the backgroup.
If you can keep that will be great.

The poet of this song is Shri Mahesh Shah. You will find this song in his Kavyasangrha “Dariyo Samji Ne”. His other popular songs are ” Ek vaar shyam tame radha ne kahi do” (Purushottam Upadhyay), “Mane dariyo samji ne prem karti nahi” (Yesudas, Soli kapadia, Parthiv), “Dwarika ni duniya ma kem tame rehsho” (Purushottam Upadhyay), “Dariyo re maro Savariyo” etc
