ખરેખર બાળપણ યાદ આવી જ ગયુઁ !
નિશાળમાઁ ભણેલા તે તાજુઁ થયુઁ….!
આ દેશે અપનાવવા જેવી રીત છે ..!
નાની મારી આંખ એ જોતી કાંખ કાંખ
આં લિટીમાં ‘કાંખ’ શબ્દ ખોટો વપરાયો હોય તેવું લાગે છે.
‘કાંખ’ નો અર્થ કેડ થાય તેથી તે શબ્દ પ્રયોગ યોગ્ય લાગતો નથી.
શબ્દ ‘કાંક’ (કઇક) હોવો જોઇએ. ગીત સાંભળતા ‘કાંક’ ચોખ્ખુ સંભળાય છે.
આ લખવાનું કારણ ફક્ત ૧૦૦% સાચું લખવું એવા આગ્રહને વશ.
અપબ્રંશ થતા થતા ૨૦-૨૫ વર્ષ બાદ આ કાવ્યનું શું રૂપ હશે તેના વિચાર માત્રથી આ લખવા પ્રેરાયો છું.

ખૂબ જ સરસ છે.બાળપણ ના દિવસો યાદ આવી ગયા…
ખરેખર બાળપણના દીવસો યાદ આવી જ ગયા..

અમારા જમાનામાં તો આ ગીત યાદ નથી આવતું પણ અત્યારે, પૌત્રો-પૌત્રીઓ સાથે જ્યારે કારમાં જતાં હોઈએ ત્યારે અચુક આ તથા મેઘધનુષના બીજા ગીતો સમજોને કે “ફરજિયાત” વગાડવા પડતા અને તોજ તેઓ મુસાફરીમાં શાંત રહેતાં. બહુ સરસ ગીત છે.
બહુ મઝા આવી ગઈ..સ્કૂલ માં આ કવિતા ભણ્યા હતા. આજે ફરી એકવાર એ દિવસો અને એ ટીચર યાદ આવી ગયા.

. but these songs he doesn’t know. i will make sure that he listens to these wonderful ‘gujarati balgeeto’. No more words jayshree ben to thank you. (I tried to write in gujarati but found it difficult.).
FOR SEVERAL YEARS IN THE RECENT PAST, I WAS LOOKING FOR THE COMPLETE LISTING OF THE SONG THAT I WAS TAUGHT IN THE KINDERGARTEN CLASS IN 1938 IN BARODA. I ASKED TO MY FRIEND FROM THAT CLASS BUT HE COULD NOT RECALL. ALL I COULD REMEMBER WAS AANGALI MARI CHAPTI AND PAG MARA NANA VERSES. BUT TODAY YOU CAME TO MY HELP. This Balgeet has been written by Shrimad Upendracharya. I am a deciple of his Ashram at Baroda, Gujarat. He died in the year 1936. The Ashram “Vishvavandhya Udyan” is at Baroda. He is popularly knaown as Bhagvanshree. He has written many books in prose as well as poems. His father Shrimad Narsinhacharya populary known as Bapjishree, Shri. Chotalal Jivanlal Master populary known as Vishwavandhya (deciple of Bapjishree), His wife, Smt. Jayantidevi and Smt. Motiben have written many prose and poems. Shri Bhagvanshree has built an three dimensnal open air theatre, which is still there and plays (samvado) are still performed. At the ashram, there is a Maun Mandir, the same can be utised by any one subject to availabity. At the Ashram the books written by the aforesaid vibhuties are available. The Ashram’s telephone nos are 0265 2460404 / 2465398. The Ashram’s office timings are 9 a.m. -12 noon and 4 – 7p.m.

પહેલા ધોરણ માં ભણતા ત્યારે આ કાવ્ય આવતુ જેમાં ભગવાને આપેલી અતી અદ્બભુત અજાયબીઓ ની કવિતા દ્બારા બાળકો ને સમજ મળતી. જ્યારે આજની અંગ્રેજી માધ્યમ માં ભણતી નવી પેઢી જીવન જીવવાની સંવેદન શીલતા ભરેલો વારસો ગુમાવી બેસીછે ત્યારે આપનૉ આ પ્રયાસ ખુબજ પ્રશંસનીય છે.

I recall my 1st standard in which we had this poem & our teacher taught us with action. I loved this songs. Nowadays everybody studying in English medium I am sure they will not enjoy the life which we enjoyed in childhood.
